4. They had more men, a stronger naval force, and were better equipped with cannons and the like.

5. There were three main reasons that Loyalists supported Britain. Some were Anglican, that church was headed by the British King. Other people feared that revolution would bring to much disorder to the colonies. Many did not understand what the uproar about a couple of taxes was based on.

6. He wrote popular propaganda supporting the revolutionaries. The most famous of which was Common Sense.

7.Both France and Spain helped the colonists fight against Britain.

8. The continental army was lacking in food, clothing, blankets, and shelter. This became even more obvious at Valley Forge, where harsh winter conditions plagued the continental army.

9. She believed and encouraged the idea that women’s minds were as large as men’s brains. Thus, women should receive an equal amount of education as men.

10. The Natives thought the British less of a threat. They couldn’t reach an agreement for land, so the Natives switched alliances.

14. The Patriots had quite a few brilliant military leaders, George Washington and at first Benedict Arnold to name two. They also were fighting for their own freedom and land, whereas mercenaries were fighting for money or because their rulers made them.

15.Some women dressed as men and enrolled themselves in the military. Others would go along with the troops and mend, sew, or wash clothing and otherwise attend to daily needs.

16. The city was close together and it would be easier to convince a population to surrender when there is obvious proof of control, not just a threat.

17. Kick started the French revolution and Saint-Domingue hosted their own revolutions
